Wednesday, April 8th, 2009Video to come pretty soon.
A (foldable) Bluetooth keyboard used for typing on an Android G1. Works with all applications on the G1 that accept keyboard input.
Even though the G1 has a built-in QWERTY keyboard - this external option might be interesting for typing longer text while being e.g. in a train or at a cafe.
The setup uses the Linux Bluez Bluetooth stack and the uinput mechanism - both there on the Android device.
Zeemote JS1 controller and Android G1 connected via Bluetooth
Friday, April 3rd, 2009The Zeemote JS1 is a Bluetooth peripheral that e.g. comes together with some recent Nokia phones. You may find it on ebay as well.
This short video shows interaction with an Android G1. You want to see multiple JS1 controlers connected - so you may play multi-player games on one device? Your first idea was "pong !"? You want to see the controler connected to other devices - that may even have TV out?
You will see all of this !
More to come!
